Sam Neill, The Actor Known for his Role in Jurassic Park, Disclosed his Cancer Diagnosis

Sam Neill, an actor best recognized for his roles in the “Jurassic Park” film series, says in his upcoming biography that he recently battled stage III blood cancer but is now cancer-free.

Neill had chemotherapy for his angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma, according to the Guardian, who spoke with him.

According to the source, he is currently taking a chemotherapy treatment that is relatively new and will last him for the remainder of his life.

Neill told the publication, “I’m not off the hook, but no cancer exists in my body.

CNN received confirmation from Neill’s representative that he is in remission.

Neill continued in the interview, “I can’t pretend that the past year hasn’t had its sad moments. “But those dark times, as you know, bring the sunshine into sharp focus and have greatly increased my gratitude for all my friends daily. Merely grateful to be alive.”

Today, Neill is doing “extremely well and back at work,” according to his agent.

According to the best-selling book “Apples Never Fall” by Liane Moriarty, he is developing “Apples Never Fall,” a Peacock limited series. Annette Bening also appears in the project.
