Brazilian football club Santos has prepared a full funeral plan for its legend and world football star Pelé, who passed away yesterday, Thursday, at the age of 82.
Pele’s body is scheduled to be embalmed and transported from the Albert Einstein hospital in Sao Paulo to the Villa Belmero stadium, headquarters of the Santos club, early next Monday morning.
A few hours before the start of the ceremony, the public will be able to enter the Santos stadium garden from ten o’clock to attend the funeral.
And the Brazilian channel TV Globo confirmed that political authorities and other prominent figures will use a separate entrance through gate number 10 of the Villa Belmero stadium with the presence of the President of Brazil at the head of those present.
She indicated that a procession would pass through the streets of the entire city of Santos, and then they would march to the Pele family cemetery without the presence of the public.
