Saudi Arabia climbs 17 spots in the World Bank’s 2023 Logistics Performance Index.

Saudi Minister of Transport and Logistics Saleh Al Jasser announced that the Kingdom has climbed 17 positions in the World Bank’s 2023 logistics rankings.

And he tweeted: “The system will continue – under the guidance of wise leadership – to move forward to strengthen the Kingdom’s position as a global logistics hub in line with the goals of the National Strategy for Transport and Logistics Services.”

With the support and authority of His Highness the Crown Prince, the Kingdom has risen to 17th place in the World Bank’s 2023 Logistics Index. The system will continue – under the guidance of wise leadership – to move forward to strengthen the position of the Kingdom as a global logistics center in line with the goals of the National Strategy for Transport and Logistics Services ????????

In a statement, the Ministry of Transport noted that it is proud to have advanced 17 positions in the World Bank’s Logistics Services Performance Index in less than two years since the launch of the National Transport and Logistics Services Strategy.

The ministry added: “We are taking confident steps towards unprecedented prospects for the development of the sector and the achievement of goals.”
