The International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) has decided to impose a fine on the Saudi Federation, depriving it of the ability to register new players during the upcoming summer transfer period.
According to reports, in the summer of 2023, FIFA decided not to allow new players to join the union.
FIFA’s decision was taken due to a delay in the payment of two million euros in contributions to the Emirati club Sharjah for the Brazilian transfer of Coronado.
Coronado joined Al Ittihad during the 2021 summer transfer period from Emirati side Sharjah.
Al Ittihad are gearing up to face Al Faihaa tomorrow Saturday in search of the Roshan League title for the 2022-23 season if they win.
