Search underway for missing girl in Adygea

Krasnodar, July 14 – Rescuers began searching for an 11-year-old girl who was vacationing with her parents at a camp site in the mountains of Adygea. The child was last seen on Thursday in a mountain lake area, the Southern Regional Search and Rescue Team of the Russian Emergencies Ministry reported.

Previously, the girl and her parents had a rest at the Upper Chub camp site. On Thursday they went for a walk to Lake Psenodakh, the child did not return to the camp site. It is noted that there is no contact in the mountains, so it is not yet possible to know the exact conditions.

“Tonight, rescuers of the Adyghe detachment of the Ministry of Emergency Situations began search work – 11 people left for the area of ​​\u200b\u200bthe Maikop pass. At 06.00, a helicopter of the Ministry of Emergency Situations flew from Sochi to the mountain range with rescuers on board. After examining the area from air, the group landed near Lake Psenodakh, ”the message stated.

According to the rescuers, eyewitnesses reported that the last time they saw the girl was on Thursday around 17.00, she was two kilometers from the lake and walked towards the camp site.
