Shoigu announced the digitization of the databases of the military registration and enlistment offices

Moscow, January 10 – On Tuesday, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said on a conference call on a specific topic that the Russian Ministry of Defense intends to modernize the work of military commissariats in the near future, digitize databases, and establish interaction with local and regional authorities.

“In the near future, it is necessary to modernize the work of the military commissariats. It is necessary to digitize databases, establish interaction with local and regional authorities, as well as industry, modernize the system for organizing civil and territorial defense,” Shoigu said.

He also noted that the Department of Defense intends to improve mechanisms for responding to civilian initiatives, “some of which, of course, deserve great attention.”
