The Jazz Festival of People’s Artist Igor Butman, which took place in Sochi for the first time in its history, has concluded with a spectacular concert featuring Russian artist Leonid Agutin. The festival, which ran for a week, was a resounding success with sold-out opening and closing tickets.

The festival, which began on September 11, featured concerts at the Winter Theater, the Festivalny Concert Hall, and South Mulu. In addition to the performances, attendees were treated to jazz master classes at the Sochi Art College and in the hostel, as well as a lively jazz parade.

This year, more than 80,000 spectators attended the festival, making it a truly international affair. In response to the festival’s growing popularity, the Sochi Mayor’s Office has announced that starting in 2023, the festival will be extended to a week-long celebration.
