Hotel Workers Demand Inter Miami and Lionel Messi to Stay Away from Los Angeles Hotel
Hotel workers in Los Angeles are protesting against Inter Miami and its star player Lionel Messi, urging them not to stay at the Fairmont Miramar hotel in Santa Monica prior to their Major League Soccer game against Los Angeles this coming Sunday.
The workers at Fairmont Miramar have joined thousands of other hotel workers in the area who have been on strike this summer, demanding higher wages.

The United Hair Local 11 union, which represents numerous industry workers, released a statement saying, “We have learned that Inter Miami and Lionel Messi will be coming to Los Angeles this week to play against Los Angeles on Sunday. We ask Lionel Messi and his teammates to show solidarity with us and refrain from staying at the Fairmont Miramar.”
Inter Miami has not yet responded to the union’s request for comment, and a union representative confirmed that they have not received any response from the team so far.
Impressive Performance by Messi
In his previous nine matches, Messi has scored 11 goals and provided three assists to his teammates. He has also played a key role in helping Inter Miami win the League Cup, marking the team’s first-ever tournament victory.
