Surprise.. The Syrian Football Association has signed a contract with the Argentine coach Cooper
Today, Thursday, the Syrian Football Association announced the appointment of Argentine veteran Hector Cooper as the new technical director who will lead the Syrian first team, without disclosing the details of the deal.
Hector Cooper, the new coach of the Nusur Qasioun team, and his assistants are due to arrive in Syria in the coming days, according to the Syrian Football Association’s Facebook page.
It is noteworthy that 67-year-old Hector Cooper previously led the training of the Emirati club Al-Wasl, and also led the Egyptian team to qualify for the Russia-2018 World Cup.
Cooper’s last experience was with the Democratic Republic of the Congo, which he chose to reach the final of the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
