Syria’s Central Bank Adjusts Official Dollar Exchange Rate

The Central Bank of Syria has set the exchange rate of the Syrian pound against the US dollar at 7150 pounds per dollar in the Bulletin of Money Transfers and Exchanges.

According to the bulletin on remittances and exchanges published today, Wednesday, by the Central Bank, the exchange rate of the Syrian pound against the euro was set at 7,531.10 pounds sterling per euro.

This bulletin is issued according to the Central Bank for the purpose of issuing cash and buying commercial foreign transfers and incoming transfers to individuals, including incoming transfers through global transfer networks.

In the previous bulletin on remittances and exchanges, the Central Bank set the exchange rate of the Syrian pound against the US dollar at 7100 pounds per dollar and against the euro at 7589.19 Syrian pounds per euro.
