Tampa Bay’s Stanley Cup hopes are nearing an end

Moscow, April 25 – Hockey players “Toronto Maple Leafs” won the fourth game of the series of the first round of the playoffs of the Eastern Conference of the National Hockey League (NHL) against the “Tampa Bay Lightning”.

The meeting, which took place in Tampa, ended with the victory of the guests in overtime with a score of 5: 4 (0: 2, 1: 2, 3: 0, 1: 0). Noel Akari (25th minute), Auston Matthews (50th and 53rd) and Morgan Riley (57th) scored goals in regular time. Alexander Kerfoot (65) scored the winning goal in overtime. Tampa scored two goals each for Alex Killorn (10 and 39), Russian defender Mikhail Sergachev (19) and Stephen Stamkos (32).

Sergachev also asked for one help. Russian “Tampa” striker Nikita Kucherov scored two assists. Stealing goalkeeper Andrei Vasilevsky made 32 of his 37 saves. Toronto goalkeeper Ilya Samsonov made 27 saves out of 31 shots.
The score in the series for four wins was 3-1 in favor of the Maple Leafs. The fifth match will be held in Toronto on the night of April 28, Moscow time.
