Tarasova responded to reports of Kostomarov’s fingers being amputated

Moscow, February 3 – Honored trainer of the USSR Tatyana Tarasova told about the status of the Olympic champion in figure dancing Roman Kostomarov.

Earlier, there were reports in the media that due to the consequences of pneumonia, the athlete may face amputation of the fingers.

Kostomarov has been in intensive care since January 10. He was diagnosed with pneumonia after performing in Ilya Averbukh’s ice show “The Wizard of Oz”, which was held outdoors in a 25-degree frost. The athlete is in the intensive care unit of Kommunarca Hospital, and is connected to a ventilator.
