Moscow, March 10 – Tatyana Ovechkina, mother of Washington Capitals captain Alexander Ovechkin, attended her son’s National Hockey League (NHL) game, according to Russian Machine Never Breaks.
The two-time Olympic basketball champion came to the regular season match between the Washington Capitals and the New Jersey Devils (2: 3b). It is noteworthy that this is the first match of her son in the NHL since 2017, which she attended.
The hockey player’s parents stopped traveling to the United States due to the deteriorating health of his father, Mikhail Ovechkin, who died in February at the age of 72. After the death of his father, Ovechkin stated that his mother and brother would arrive in the United States.
