Volgograd, July 4 – The Volgograd Region Health Committee said on Tuesday that a 13-year-old boy ended up in the intensive care unit of a Volgograd hospital after being bitten by a karakurt spider.
According to the oath, a 13-year-old boy from Volzhsky karakurt was bitten on the knee when he was helping his grandmother in the garden. First, the teenager was sent to the city hospital, and then to the acute poisoning center of the regional clinic.
“He was hospitalized in the intensive care unit. After treatment, the case with positive dynamics, of moderate severity, was transferred to the children’s department of acute poisoning, and treatment continued,” the committee said in a telegram channel.
