“A decision has been taken to approve a regulation on a tourist tax of 150 baht (about $4.3) for travelers arriving in Thailand via sea or land borders and 300 baht (about $8.6) for those arriving by air,” said the minister, his words quoted. Newspaper “Khao Sot”.
“The fees will start on June 1, 2023. Passengers who stay in Thailand for one day only will not be charged,” the head of the Ministry of Tourism added.
