Moscow, February 8 – The former adviser to the head of the Pentagon, retired Colonel Douglas McGregor, laughed when asked about the “plans” of Polish President Andrzej Duda to help Kyiv capture Crimea. His interview was posted on the Judging Freedom YouTube channel.
Host Andrew Napolitano asked the military what they thought of the Polish president’s call to support Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s aspirations to take over the peninsula. The speaker laughed, making it clear again if he had heard of the Polish leader’s ambitions.
“The President of Poland wants the American forces, together with the Polish forces, to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine to capture Crimea, but it’s impossible. It’s crazy on his part to talk about it. He seems to be using something hallucinogenic,” he said.

According to the military, Poland is seeking to involve NATO in the conflict in Ukraine, which enforces the application of Article 5 of the alliance’s charter, according to which an attack on one or more countries is considered an attack on NATO as a whole. However, McGregor is confident that other countries will not support Warsaw because they do not want a war with Russia.
As Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov emphasized earlier, the Kyiv-Vladimir Zelensky line of controlling Crimea will fail.
