The Armed Forces of Ukraine fired six shells at Donetsk
Donetsk, January 31 – At 23.15 hours, Ukrainian forces fired six 155-mm shells at the Kirovsky and Kuibyshevsky districts of Donetsk, reported the representative office of the Donetsk People’s Republic at the Joint Center for Monitoring and Coordination of Cases Related to War Crimes in Ukraine (JCCC).
“A fire was recorded on the part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (Armed Forces of Ukraine – ed.) in the direction: 23.15 – the settlement of Galitsynovka – the city of Donetsk (Kirov and Kuibyshevsky districts): six 155-mm shells,” the report said.
NATO countries use 155 mm artillery. The United States has supplied Kyiv with long-range 155 mm M777 howitzers, and Ukrainian forces are actively using them to bomb the cities of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics. Also, the Ukrainian troops were supplied with German self-propelled guns PzH 2000, Polish Krab self-propelled guns and French CAESAR self-propelled guns with shells of this caliber.
