The Armed Forces of Ukraine shelled Donetsk and Golmovsky with heavy artillery

Donetsk, February 13 – Ukrainian forces fired nine 155- and 152-mm shells at Donetsk and the village of Golmovsky, reported the DRC’s representative office at the Joint Center for Monitoring and Coordination of Cases Related to War Crimes in Ukraine (JCCC).

“Fish from armed formations of Ukraine were recorded in the following directions: 12:50 (coinciding with Moscow time) – Shcherbinovka settlement – Golmovsky settlement: 6 152-mm shells were fired; 13:05 – Tunenkoye settlement – Donetsk city (Kyiv region) It fired 3 155 mm shells,” according to the administration’s Telegram channel.

Golmovsky urban settlement, located 16 kilometers northeast of Gorlovka, is one of the largest in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

NATO countries use 155 mm artillery. The United States has supplied Kyiv with long-range 155 mm M777 howitzers, and Ukrainian forces are actively using them to bomb the cities of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics. Also, the Ukrainian troops were supplied with German self-propelled guns PzH 2000, Polish Krab self-propelled guns and French CAESAR self-propelled guns with shells of this caliber.
