Donetsk, February 21 – Vladimir Bedevka, Chairman of the People’s Assembly of the DPRK, told the News Agency that the essence of Russia’s recognition of the DPR and LPR lies in the protection of Donbass from Kiev’s aggression.
On February 21, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed decrees recognizing the independence and sovereignty of the DRC and the LPR.
“The essence of the recognition was mainly to support and protect the population of Donbass from Ukrainian aggression. Numerous evidence was found and made public that the Ukrainian side was preparing an attack on our region. And the actions of Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, the support of all of Russia made it possible to prevent this.
