An agreement for the development of a ski resort in the Sakhalin region, including for the construction of hotel and tourist infrastructure facilities, was signed between the Mantera group of companies and the region as part of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) in September last year.

“Currently, all the projects announced within the framework of the recent World Economic Forum are being implemented according to the roadmap. Thus, within the framework of a public-private partnership, a plot of land has been identified, an analysis of the mountain air resort has been carried out, and a master plan for the area is being developed. The full implementation of the project is scheduled to start, and engineering surveys are scheduled for the summer of 2023.

They explained that we are talking about the development of a tourist agglomeration at the foot of Krasnaya Mountain. “It is planned to build a hotel with 1.7 thousand rooms, a gondola-type cable car with a length of two kilometers,” the press service said.

Also within the framework of the World Economic Forum, the CEO of the group of companies, Jamalbulat Khatov, told the News Agency that Mantera plans to build an amusement park with a resort and hotel complex on the Russian island for 32 billion rubles. He pointed out that an amusement park, a water park, a family entertainment center, an agricultural food park, a hotel complex, and a park for various activities, in addition to convenient parking spaces, will be built on an area of ​​about 100 hectares.

“For this project, a preliminary concept of the complex was developed, a business model was developed, a marketing analysis was carried out. Today, procedures for the transfer of land plots are underway,” the company’s press service said.
