The court closed the case of the former deputy who dropped a child and walked off the scene

Novosibirsk, December 23 – The justice of the peace of the Novosibirsk region, in connection with the conciliation of the parties, has released from criminal responsibility a dismissed district deputy who knocked down a six-year-old boy in a car and left the scene of the accident, the News Agency said in the district judicial department department.
“By the decision of the magistrate of the 1st judicial district of the Tatarsky judicial district of the Novosibirsk region dated December 23, 2022, Mamontov SI was absolved of criminal liability for the commission of an offense under Article 125 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The criminal case against him was terminated due to the reconciliation of the parties,” said a management spokesperson. Earlier, some media reported that the ex-deputy paid compensation in the amount of 1 million rubles to the child’s mother.
On the evening of October 30 of this year, in the city of Tatarsk, the deputy of the Tatar district house of the Novosibirsk region, director of the Tatar road repair and construction department, Sergei Mamontov, beat six. – An old boy in a Toyota RAV-4 left, leaving the child lying on the road. According to the main office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, after the accident, Deputy Cross was put on the wanted list, but after a while the driver himself came to the police. Examination determined that he was sober. A video that appeared online shows that Toyota ran over a child, then a man got out of the car, searched him and left. Fortunately, the boy did not suffer life-threatening injuries.
