The Czechs scored nine unanswered goals against Austria at MFM-2023

Moscow, December 28 – The Czech national ice hockey team defeated the Austrian national team in the group stage match of the World Youth Ice Hockey Championship, which is being held in Canada.
The first group meeting, whose matches were held in Halifax, ended with a score of 9: 0 (3: 0, 4: 0, 2: 0) in favor of the Czechs. As part of the winners, Jiri Kulich scored three hat-tricks (17, 29 and 41), Gabriel Storrs (22 and 31) scored two goals, Jacob Brabenets (4), Peter Hauser (19), also scored a goal. The meeting of Group B, the matches of which were held in Moncton, ended with the victory of the Swiss in a penalty shootout – 3: 2 (1: 1, 0: 1, 1: 0, 0: 0, 1: 0). Louis Robin (9) and Rodwin Dionisio (59) scored goals in regular time for Switzerland. The author of the winning shot was Likita Raichle. The Latvians scored Dans Lokhilis (14) and Darles Dokors (38). The Swiss achieved the second victory in the tournament, scoring 4 points, and Latvia has 1 point to their credit.
