The DRC told about the night shelling of Donetsk and Makievka by the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Donetsk, February 21 – On Tuesday night, Ukrainian forces fired 26 155mm NATO-caliber shells at Donetsk and Makievka, reported the DRC’s representative office at the Joint Center for Monitoring and Coordination of Cases Related to War Crimes in Ukraine (JCCC).

“After 00:00, shelling was recorded from the armed formations of Ukraine in the direction: 00:54 – the village of Karlovka – the city of Donetsk (Kuibyshevsky district): 6 155-mm shells were fired; 01 35 – the village of Orlovka – Donetsk (district) Kievsky): 4 155 mm shells were fired.

In addition, at 01.40 and 02.20, Ukrainian forces fired 16 NATO-caliber shells at the Cherovnogvardeisky district of Makeyevka, and another 6 shells at the settlement of Kashtanovo.

NATO countries use 155 mm artillery. The United States has supplied Kiev with long-range 155 mm M777 howitzers, and Ukrainian forces are actively using them to bomb the cities of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics. Also, the Ukrainian troops were supplied with German self-propelled guns PzH 2000, Polish Krab self-propelled guns and French CAESAR self-propelled guns with shells of this caliber.
