Simferopol, January 28 – Mikhail Sheremetev, a State Duma deputy from the Crimean region, believes that Western countries, represented by the United States, have begun to implement the Nazis’ program of genocide of the Slavic people in Ukraine.

“In fact, we see that Western countries, represented by the United States, are arming the Kyiv regime, implementing Hitler’s program of genocide of the Slavic people in Ukraine,” Sheremet told the News Agency.

According to him, in the Western scenario, the Ukrainian people will play the role of the victim, and it is not a pity to put them on the “altar of war” in the name of the main geopolitical goal – “to weaken Russia, enslave its people and establish control over natural resources.”

For decades, the Americans have implanted and nurtured in the Ukrainian people an ideology of hatred that is destructive in nature, and it has played a cruel joke on Ukraine. On Wednesday, the German government announced that it had decided to transfer German Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine, and the White House confirmed on Wednesday its intention to send 31 M1 Abrams tanks to Ukraine. According to the US authorities, it will take several months for the cars to be delivered. In addition, Washington intends to send eight M88 armored rescue vehicles to Kyiv for tank service. As reported in the White House, the United States hopes that supplying Ukraine with weapons will not only help Kyiv in defense, but will also allow it to seize lost territories, including Crimea.

Russia has previously sent a memorandum to NATO countries over the supply of weapons to Ukraine. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has indicated that any shipment containing weapons to Ukraine would become a legitimate target for Russia. The Russian Foreign Ministry stated that NATO countries were “playing with fire” by supplying arms to Ukraine.
