The expert estimated the demand for holidays in Sochi in early 2023

Sochi, December 28 – Hotels in the mountain resorts of Krasnaya Polyana are almost completely loaded until the end of March, and half of the number of rooms on the Sochi coast will be booked during this period, Aleksan Mkrtchyan, Vice President of the Alliance of Travel Agencies (ATA), told the News Agency.

“In Krasnaya Polyana, by the end of March next year, the load was 80 percent. From February 23 to March 8, it was close to 100 percent,” Mkrtchyan said.

The expert added that the number of rooms in hotels located on the Sochi coast will be booked by 50 percent. According to him, these are high numbers, taking into account the non-seasonal and geopolitical events in the world.

The head of the alliance explained that the favorable offers of Sochi hoteliers, who did not raise vacation prices after the New Year, helped to achieve good numbers.

According to the mayor’s office, the resort is preparing to receive more than 200,000 guests during the New Year holidays, and the influx of tourists throughout the year will reach at least seven million people.
