The Final of the Russian Women’s Championship to Feature UMMC versus Dynamo Kursk

Moscow, April 10 – UMMC Yekaterinburg and Dynamo Kursk meet in the final of the Russian Women’s Basketball Championship.

UMMC In the semifinals, UMMC defeated Orenburg “Nadezhda” with a score of 2-0 (77:45, 87:38). “Dynamo” from Kursk at this point was stronger than the Moscow MBA – 2-0 (75:65, 78:76). The final series will be held up to three wins and will begin on April 19 with a match in Yekaterinburg.

Dynamo Kursk basketball players are the current champions of Russia. Prior to that, UMMC had not lost in a tournament final since 2008.
