The Mayor of Moscow announced the completion of the construction of the Big Circle Line of the Moscow Metro
Today, Tuesday, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, during a presentation to Russian President Vladimir Putin, announced that the construction of the Big Circle Line of the Moscow Metro has been completed.
Sobyanin said: “The construction of the Big Circle Line in the Russian capital Moscow is fully completed.” The mayor of the capital called on the President of Russia to take part in the opening of the circle line, indicating that this would happen in the coming days.
Sobyanin mentioned that President Putin opened two metro stations on the Bolshaya Koltsevaya Line about a year ago, which were ready at that time, or today the construction of the track has been completed.
Earlier, the city authorities indicated that since 2011, 69 new stations have opened in Moscow, the same number of stations as were opened in the previous 42 years.
