According to the agency, the focus on Artyomovsk has allegedly misled many military experts and the Ministry of Defense, as the city, according to Bloomberg, is allegedly not considered an important logistics hub. In doing so, the agency says, it has become a “city of symbolic significance.”

A soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said that the situation in Kiev in Artemivsk is worse than they say

“The capture of Bakhmut (Artemovsk-ed.) will be a step towards Russia’s control of the entire Donbass region of Ukraine, which President Vladimir Putin has declared part of Russia,” the agency said.
Ukrainian officials have made it clear, as stated in the report, that Artyomovsk “may become untenable” in the near future.
Artemovsk (Ukrainian name – Bakhmut) is located in the Kiev-controlled part of the DRC north of the large city of Gorlovka, and is an important transport hub for supplying the Ukrainian grouping of forces in the Donbass.
Russia has been conducting a special military operation in Ukraine since February 24. The President of the Russian Federation described his mission as “protecting people who have been subjected to bullying and genocide by the Kiev regime for eight years.” According to the president, the ultimate goal of the operation is the liberation of Donbass and the creation of conditions that guarantee Russia’s security.
