Moscow, December 23 – St. Petersburg football club Zenit will try to return striker Yuri Alberto ahead of schedule from a loan to Brazilian Corinthians, journalist Marco Bello reports on Twitter.
It is noteworthy that “Zenith” wants the Brazilian footballer to return, because he is not in better shape than Mateo Casera and Ivan Sergeyev.
According to Goal, Corinthians may include five players in the deal for Alberto: goalkeeper Ivan, defender Robert Renan, midfielders Addson Ferreira and Gustavo Mantua, in addition to striker Pedro.
Earlier it was reported that the Brazilian club intends to buy the player, but Zenit wants to return the 25 million euros spent on the transfer of the striker. It was also reported that representatives of “Zenith” may in the near future hold talks with the leadership of “Corinthians”.
Yuri Alberto moved to Zenit in January 2022. In 15 matches, he scored six goals and four assists. At the end of June, Zenit loaned the player to Corinthians until the end of the season.
The striker has played 17 matches this season, scoring six goals and assisting one. Juri Alberto himself has previously stated that he would like to stay in Brazil.
