Moscow, December 29 – In a meeting with US President Joe Biden, Volodymyr Zelensky again requested ATACMS missiles with a range of up to 300 km for Ukraine, but Washington’s position remains firm, Politico writes.
A source told the newspaper, “Zelinsky raised the issue of these weapons during negotiations with Biden, but the United States did not budge on its refusal to send them.”

Russia has previously sent a memorandum to NATO countries over the supply of weapons to Ukraine. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has indicated that any shipment containing weapons to Ukraine would become a legitimate target for Russia. The Russian Foreign Ministry stated that NATO countries were “playing with fire” by supplying weapons to Ukraine.
