The Ministry of Emergency Situations spoke about ensuring the safety of bathing at Epiphany

Moscow, January 17 – More than 4,000 people and about 700 pieces of equipment will ensure the safety of Epiphany bathing in the Moscow region, the News Agency was told in the press service of the Central Directorate for the Moscow Region of the Emergencies Ministry.
Orthodox Christians celebrate Epiphany on January 19 in Russia, and it is traditionally accompanied by communal bathing in ice water in specially designated ice-holes.
