The Mufti Calls for Year-Round Care for Women

Moscow, March 8 – It is necessary to take care of a woman all year round, and not only on holidays, Mufti Albert Krganov, head of the Spiritual Assembly of Muslims of Russia, told the News Agency.

He noted that March 8th is not a religious holiday, but it is still an “important day”.

And the mufti said: “Followers of Islam in Russia, according to Soviet traditions, celebrate this day as a secular holiday, for example, New Year’s. There is nothing wrong with that.”

According to him, vacation is also a good occasion to spend time with family.

“The family is the backbone of our society based on traditional values. Therefore, I advise you to devote time to your family and friends, communicate with children as often as possible, talk, listen and thus devote yourself to your closest circle,” he concluded.
