Moscow, February 4 – Memphis Grizzlies forward Dillon Brooks has been suspended for one game in the NBA championship for fighting with Cleveland Cavaliers defender Donovan Mitchell, according to an official. Twitter NBA.
The incident occurred during a collegiate game in Cleveland on Thursday. The meeting ended with the victory of the hosts, with a score of 128: 113.
In the third quarter of the game, Brooks attacked Mitchell, kicking him in the groin. Mitchell responded by kicking the ball and shoving Brooks, after which a fight ensued, resulting in both players being sent off the field. The NBA recognized Brooks as the instigator of the conflict and sanctioned him with a one-game suspension. Mitchell was fined $20,000 for his participation in the fight.
