Moscow, December 31 – The period of validity of the decree establishing a simplified procedure for recognizing foreign diplomas for citizens of Ukraine, as well as for holders of educational documents from countries not friendly to Russia, expires on December 31.
The corresponding decree of the Government of the Russian Federation was published on the official Internet portal of legal information on April 6, 2022.
According to the decision, diplomas of Russians who have come from countries that are not friendly to Russia are recognized in a simplified way – on the basis of recognition of similar education previously and without sending a compulsory application to a foreign country in which he is a foreigner. Citizens of Ukraine have been exempted from the need to submit the original diploma and its supplement, and also Ukrainian diplomas must be recognized within a period of no more than eight working days.
