The Saratov governor commented on reports of an emergency in Engels

Saratov, December 26 – Saratov Region Governor Roman Busargin said that law enforcement agencies are checking reports of an emergency situation at a military facility in the city of Engels, and civilian infrastructure facilities were not damaged.

Busargin denied reports that the city’s residents had been evacuated. “Information about the incident at the military facility is being verified by law enforcement agencies,” he added.

The governor also noted that criminal liability is provided for in the event of intentionally disseminating false information, since all data on websites, the media and citizens involved in this are immediately transmitted to law enforcement agencies.

As reported by the Russian Defense Ministry, Ukraine attempted to attack military airfields in the Saratov and Ryazan regions using Soviet-made drones. The air defense intercepted the drones, but three Russian soldiers were killed and four others wounded. Then Busargin also reported that not a single civilian infrastructure facility was damaged.

As noted in the military section, despite the attempts of the Kyiv regime to disrupt the combat work of the Russian long-range aviation, on the same day when a large-scale strike was carried out on targets in Ukraine, all 17 of the identified targets were hit. As a result, the transportation of Ukrainian troops and foreign weapons to combat zones by rail was disrupted.
