Yerevan, February 24 – The European Union Special Representative for the South Caucasus Toivo Klar announced on Friday his visit to the region.
“Returning to the region for a series of consultations following the leaders’ meetings in Munich, starting in Yerevan,” Klar wrote in a tweet on Twitter. He explained that he expected “good meetings” in the morning.
On February 18, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan Nikol Pashinyan and Ilham Aliyev met on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference, where the Armenian Cabinet reported, the importance of continuing the peace process between Yerevan and Baku was noted.

During the meeting, the parties touched on issues related to the progress of work on the draft peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as the opening of regional transport infrastructures and the demarcation of borders between the two countries.
