The State Department accused the United States of a policy aimed at undermining Russia’s national security

Moscow, February 21 – The Russian Foreign Ministry believes that there is reason to say that US policy is aimed at undermining Russia’s national security.

“There is every reason to say that the policy of the United States is aimed at undermining the national security of Russia, which is in direct contradiction to the basic principles and understandings set forth in the preamble to START, on which the Treaty is based and without which it would not have been concluded. In fact we are talking about a radical change of circumstances compared to those that existed at the time of the signing of the START treaty.
