The State Duma rejected the project to establish a minimum wage of 20 thousand rubles

Moscow, January 18 – The State Duma in plenary session on Wednesday rejected the Liberal Democratic Party’s bill, which proposes to set a minimum wage of 20,000 rubles per month.

The bill was submitted to the State Duma in August 2021.

In August 2022, the Liberal Democratic Party submitted a similar bill to the State Duma to increase the minimum wage to 30 thousand rubles. The bill has not been considered by the House of Representatives.
