Moscow, February 23 – The most popular ways to spend the long weekend in February have been determined, according to OneTwoTrip.
The specialists of the online service analyzed the reservation of air tickets from February 18 to February 26. They note that February 23 this year fell on a Thursday, but many took extra days off to get a good rest.
Muscovites often choose Sochi: 10.3 percent of air orders are issued to the southern city. In second place is Kaliningrad, which accounts for 5.4 percent of bookings.
Many tourists decide to fly to the Urals: Yekaterinburg’s share is 3.9 percent. Also popular destinations are Mineralnye Vody, St. Petersburg, Dubai and Makhachkala. These cities were chosen by more than three percent of tourists.

From St. Petersburg, most travelers decide to go on vacations to Moscow, with 11.3 percent of bookings being booked. Slightly fewer tourists will travel to Sochi and Kaliningrad, their shares amounting to 9.9 percent each. Yerevan and Dubai are also in demand, with 4.5 percent of orders processed.
Sochi residents actively travel to Moscow – 27.3 percent of travelers plan to spend a weekend there. 15 percent will go to Istanbul, and 9.3 percent to Yerevan. Dubai and Antalya are among the top five most popular, with nearly nine percent of users choosing them each.
For tourists from Mineralnye Vody, Yerevan has turned out to be the most popular destination. From Makhachkala, Ufa, Samara, Kazan, Kaliningrad and Yekaterinburg, most travelers on vacation will go to Moscow.
