United Nations, December 21 – The UN Secretariat does not know if Volodymyr Zelensky plans to visit the UN headquarters during a possible visit to the United States, according to a statement by the official representative of the UN Secretary-General, Stéphane Dujarric.
Earlier, a number of US media reported that Zelensky would visit Washington on Wednesday and deliver a speech before Congress. At the same time, CNN claimed, citing two sources, that Zelensky’s meeting with US President Joe Biden was being prepared as part of this visit. The US administration has not officially commented on that yet.

Later, a representative of a member of the US Congress confirmed to the News Agency that Zelensky will speak on Wednesday at a joint session of both chambers of the US Congress, during which he intends to raise the issue of allocating new financial aid to Kiev from Washington.
