The UN Secretary-General declined the task of investigating the bombing of the pre-trial detention center in Jelinovka

UN, Jan 5 – UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres disbanded the investigation into the shelling of a DPR detention camp in July, his spokesman said.

“The UN Secretary-General decided to terminate the fact-finding mission of the Yelenivka incident on July 29, 2022,” he stated.

Dujarric says the group would be reactivated if the UN has adequate protection.
