TIME Magazine includes Messi among 100 most influential people worldwide.
The American magazine “TIME” has included the name of the Argentine star Lionel Messi, the French football striker of Paris Saint-Germain, in its list of selected 100 most influential people in the world for 2023.
Lionel Messi has been named to TIME Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in the World for 2023 after leading his country to the Qatar 2022 World Cup title.

This year’s list also includes France’s Clian Mbappe, Messi’s Paris Saint-Germain teammate, as well as World No. 1 Polish tennis player Iga Swiatek, American skier Mikaela Shiffrin and American footballer Patrick Mahomes.
And he was included in the annual list of influential people from all walks of life, including politics, sports and art, such figures as US President Joe Biden, Brazilian Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, famous American-Canadian businessman Elon Musk and others.
