Moscow, October 20 – Tinkoff Bank’s iOS App Becomes Unavailable for Download
The Tinkoff Bank DocStorage application, which allows clients of the credit institution to access its services on iOS devices, was found to be unavailable for download in the App Store within a day of its release, according to a the News Agency correspondent.
Tinkoff Bank’s iOS App Now Available Under a Different Name
Tinkoff Bank announced on Thursday morning that its iOS app is once again available for download in the App Store, but with a different name. The app, called DocStorage, is described as a convenient application for storing documents.
Difficulties in Finding and Downloading the App
Attempting to download the app using the provided links in the bank’s Telegram channel or SMS newsletter will result in the App Store reporting that the app is not available. Additionally, manually searching for the app by its name in the store is also unsuccessful.
Other Tinkoff Bank Apps Removed from the App Store
In March, Tinkoff Bank’s apps, including Tinkoff Investments and Tinkoff Mobile, were removed from the App Store.
Tinkoff Bank Faces Sanctions
In February, Tinkov was included in the tenth package of EU sanctions against Russia. Subsequently, in July, the United States and Canada imposed sanctions on the credit institution.
