Top Three Contenders for NBA Season MVP Announced

Moscow, April 15 – The National Basketball Association (NBA) has announced on Twitter the shortlists for individual award contenders for this season, and Giannis Antetokounmpo (Milwaukee Bucks), Joel Embiid (Philadelphia Sixers) and Nikola Jokic will compete for the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award. (Denver Nuggets).
Jokic and Antetokounmpo can win the MVP award for the third time in their careers. The Serb was the MVP for the last two seasons in the NBA and the Greek striker for two consecutive seasons before Jokic. Cameroonian Embiid could win the NBA’s most prestigious individual award for the first time in his career.
Among the top three contenders for Coach of the Season were Mike Brown (Sacramento Kings), Mark Dagault (Oklahoma City Thunder) and Joe Mazzola (Boston Celtics). Brown was previously named Coach of the Season by the NBA Coaches Association.
