Treasury Dept. Imposes Sanctions on Bashar al-Assad’s Cousins

The US Treasury Department has imposed sanctions on two cousins of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, a statement released on Tuesday said.
According to the statement, the sanctions were directed against Samer Kamal al-Assad and Wassim Badi al-Assad, while the US Treasury also imposed sanctions on Syrian businessman Khaled Kaddour.
