The meeting in Denver ended with a score of 4: 1 (2: 0, 1: 1, 1: 0). Nathan McKinnon (4th minute), Alex Newhoek (9), Mikko Rantanen (23) and Dennis Malgin (45) scored for Colorado. Tyler Tofoli (38) scored for Calgary.
