Police determined that in early 2021, four suspects (two British nationals and two Romanian nationals) had set up an organized crime group. To date, six girls who have been subjected to violence are known to have been injured. The girls were forced to participate in the production of pornography, which was then sold on Internet platforms. Some of the victims were forced to have sexual relations.
On Thursday afternoon, officers from the Main Directorate of Organized Crime and Terrorism searched the home of the two brothers and other suspects. In total, four people were arrested, including a former employee of the Romanian police who helped the Tates.
