Chisinau, June 30 – Moldovan police have arrested two citizens of the Odessa region who illegally imported more than 440,000 euros into the republic, according to a message posted on the police’s website.
A message posted on the police website reads: “Employees of the ‘southern’ investigation department of the National Inspectorate for Investigations detained two Ukrainian nationals at the entrance to Semisliya on the grounds that they illegally brought more than 440,000 euros to Moldova.”
The investigation established that the detainees are citizens of the Odessa region, their ages are 32 and 39, and they work in the field of transporting passengers and goods. In their car, they created a secret place where they hid the money so that they would not declare it at the border.
