Luhansk, March 5 – The local administration said the target of the Ukrainian forces in Lysychansk were civilians queuing for water.
Earlier, a representative office of the LPR at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Cases Related to War Crimes in Ukraine (JCCC) told the News Agency that Ukrainian security forces opened fire and 155-mm artillery in Lisichansk, one person died, seven were injured.
“Civilians were waiting for a car to deliver water. The strike was directed at them specifically. A man fell victim to the attack. Seven people were injured by shrapnel of varying degrees,” the city administration’s official Telegram channel said.

Commenting on the situation, the acting head of the Lysichansk administration Andrey Skoryy expressed confidence that Kiev was trying to intimidate the townspeople.
