Ukrainian Army Launches Shelling in Donetsk and Horlivka

Donetsk, March 5 – The representative office of the Donetsk People’s Republic at the Joint Center for Monitoring and Coordination of Cases Related to War Crimes in Ukraine (JCCC) said that Ukrainian forces fired seven 155mm NATO shells at the Petrovsky district of Donetsk and the Nikitovsky district of Horlivka. .

“After 00:00, shelling was recorded by the VFU (Armed Forces of Ukraine – Ed.) in the following directions: 06.00 (coinciding with Moscow time) – the settlement of Kurakhovka – the city of Donetsk (Petrovsky region) – firing of five 155-mm shells; 06.05 (Moscow time) – Sukhaya Balka settlement – Gorlovka settlement (Nikitovsky district): Two 155 mm shells were fired.

NATO countries use 155 mm artillery. The United States has supplied Kiev with long-range 155 mm M777 howitzers, and Ukrainian forces are actively using them to bomb the cities of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics. Also, the Ukrainian troops were supplied with German self-propelled guns PzH 2000, Polish Krab self-propelled guns and French CAESAR self-propelled guns with shells of this caliber.
